Operations & Marketing Intern

Responsibilities Include (are not limited to):

Operations (will be about 75% of the tasks)

• Organize and restock shelves in warehouse

• Move items and help pack up orders for partners

• Pack and unpack toiletry donations

• Buy and pick up products from local retailers, as needed

• Assist with general office administration, as needed

Marketing & Development (will be about 25% of the tasks)

• Assist with social media efforts

• Assistance setting up and executing special events

• Perform online research, as needed

  As a small nonprofit with one employee, the intern will be expected to help in other areas of the organization as needed.

  
  Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Comfortable using Google Suite including Gmail and Google Drive

• Excellent writing and proof-reading skills

• Ability to work independently

• Experience and understanding of several social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
