Volunteer
Amenity Aid began as a charity completely run by volunteers.
Today, volunteers continue to be valuable members of our team, and they help us work to achieve our mission. You can make a difference in Rhode Island by supporting our program that provides essential hygiene products to those in need.

Host a Hygiene Drive
Collections are a great way to engage friends, family members, and colleagues in community service while creating awareness about this huge unmet need in our local community. Locations across the community may include a family gathering, places of employment or worship, fitness groups, youth associations, holiday gatherings, conferences, retail stores, book clubs and more.
Period Packing Parties
Amenity Aid welcomes families, friends, and community groups to fundraise (or make a direct monetary donation) and host a period packing party. Participants' contributions allow us to source high-quality period products in bulk at lower costs, which we then provide to the group to assemble period kits.
Project costs start at $500 for 8 participants to purchase and assemble 125-150 period kits.
These popular events are held at our warehouse and serve as an educational opportunity where an Amenity Aid team member explains the state of period poverty in Rhode Island.
